To declare that there are no European approved components available in order to support the vehicle’s acceptance for (re-)registration purposes in the EU

All vehicle types of which certain components from origin have not been developed/approved according EU/ECE standards nor replacement parts with ECE/EU approval are available in the market

Required deliverables to be provided by applicant:

  • 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
  • Copy of existing vehicle registration documents
  • Copy of vehicle owner’s ID card (e.g. copy of passport or driver’s license)
  • Company’s VAT number (If ordered by a company with a registered VAT number in the EU)
  • Shipping and billing address
  • Phone number of shipping address
  • Photo’s of all mounted lighting devices, glazing , seat belts and rear view mirrors showing clearly the component’s ID/approval markings and/or labels
  • Country for which the Statement is required (i.e. country of registration)

Deliverables can be uploaded by applicant during the on-line ordering process or uploaded at a later stage (after the order has been completed).
