Construction Plate
The construction plate is meant to declare technical and regulatory data of the vehicle on the manufacturer’s label for (re) registration purposes in the EU. Available for vehicles produced for the European (EU) market that have a European Type Approval, Small Series Type Approval or Individual Approval. Available for all countries and all brands. Vehicles produced for the European (EU) market who are covered by an European Type Approval, Small Series Type Approval or Individual Approval.

Required deliverables to be provided by applicant:
- VAT number of the company (if ordered by a company with a registered VAT number in the EU)
- Shipping and billing address
- Phone number of the shipping address
- Manufacturer’s name (company responsible for completing or modifying the vehicle)
- 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Approval number (with individual approval field remains empty and with 2nd stage approval the 2nd stage approval number)
- Approval phase (usually phase 2, may also be 3 or higher due to a previous change)
- Technically permissible maximum masses (if one or more of the original maximum axle load (s), maximum mass of the vehicle and / or combination change)
If only a body is built, the following information must be present on the 2nd construction plate and supplied:
- Name of bodybuilder (company responsible for building the bodywork
- 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Approval phase (usually phase 2)
The required data for which no separate input field is available, must be specified in the customer comments field.
Important note before ordering the document:
- These construction plates / labels are only available for manufacturers and bodybuilders.
- Before ordering, check that all the information required on the label is ready and correct.
- The labels are produced (custom-made) based on your input and cannot be exchanged or returned due to the vehicle-specific character.
