To declare the vehicle’s technical specifications for taxation and/or (re-)registration purposes

All vehicles manufactured by General Motors in Canada from 1946 and for vehicles manufactured in the Unites States as from approximately 1978 and vehicles manufactured by Mitsubishi.

This Technical Data Sheet is just an example, no rights can be derived. The TDS you will receive can contain less information than shown in this example.
Required deliverables to be provided by applicant:
- 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Photo of the vehicle Manufacturer’s Label (located on driver’s door, B pillar or in engine compartment)
- Copy of existing vehicle registration documents
- Copy of vehicle owner’s ID card (e.g. copy of passport or driver’s license)
- Company’s VAT number (If ordered by a company with a registered VAT number in the EU)
- Shipping and billing address
- Phone number of shipping address
- Country for which the Statement is required (i.e. country of registration)
Important notes before ordering the document:
The TDS will include technical data according to the legislation of the market the vehicle has been manufactured for (usually not Europe). Please note that the TDS content may vary depending on model year and type of vehicle. We advise to verify if the TDS is required and accepted by your local authorities The TDS may be beneficial for the French Single Vehicle Approval procedure and required by the DRIEE/DREAL/DEAL.
