Sinds 1 juli 2019 moet bij elke wijziging aan een voertuig, een extra constructieplaat worden aangebracht. Op die tweede constructieplaat moet de naam van de constructeur (fabrikant) staan die verantwoordelijk is voor de wijziging en o.a. de van toepassing zijnde technisch toelaatbare massa\u2019s.
\nVanuit Europese wetgeving worden er specifieke eisen aan de constructieplaat gesteld zoals het toegepaste materiaal, de volgorde van de vermelde gegevens en de hoogte van de leestekens.
\nBovendien dient de constructieplaat knoei- en fraude\u00adbestendig te zijn en onbruikbaar worden bij een poging het label te verwijderen.<\/p>\n
